I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.

Ex two time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
